introducing me

Hey y’all!

I’m just popping in to introduce myself.

I am a 25 year old lover of Jesus from Detroit, MI named Imani (e-ma-ne).

I decided to start this blog for a few reasons, but the biggest being that I felt led by God to jump back into blogging. Now, I don’t know what God’s plan is for this platform, but I know it will be something cool because I walked in obedience. I knew that my struggles could help to inspire others that have walked down the same paths I have.

Being a believer means that you have messed up and fallen short at some point and time (or many points and times). This blog highlights the realities of being a young believer in a really crazy world. It also discusses the times I messed up bigtime and desperately needed God’s grace. Grace is so incredibly undeserved but I welcome like the air I breathe.

We are in for a journey.
